About all that is left on the walls of our old house are these nails (which we will remove and patch, we're not total jerks).  Tomorrow the bulk of the moving should be done, so tonight is our last night sleeping here in our old house.  Memories...

Spent the day packing, as we closed on a new house yesterday.  We've been in this house 7 years, it is so strange to think in a few days it won't be our home anymore.

Josie spent our time at the park today pushing her imaginary friend (actually, according to her, her imaginary granddaughter) on the swings, who she has named Liper (like her cousin Piper, only different, again according to Josie).

When you have no air conditioning and it is almost 100 degrees and humid as a swamp, you start to appreciate your fans like never before (even when they are as dusty as this guy).

Fernwood Friday

Went to a concert out at Fernwood tonight, and then hung out in the train garden and checked in on the frogs for Josie before calling it an evening.  So wanted to caption the frogs "Bud", "Wise", "Errrrrrr" but restrained myself.

This new guitar...

Well, not new actually, it has been collecting dust for a couple of years, but I finallly had a guitar lesson tonight, which was really the first time I've ever used it and made it feel new.  My poor fingers are not nearly tough enough for guitar playing yet, that is step one, then hopefully lessons will be a lot more productive than this one was!  Oh well, it was still fun, and I've always wanted to play the guitar, so I'm glad to have the chance to learn.
